When replacing makes sense
We never start with a new unit. We look at your current heater first and see if a repair can solve the problem. If it can, we say so. If the heater is worn out, we tell you that too, and we explain what led us there. Our rule is to avoid solutions that replace everything when something smaller works. A replacement is for the times when it is truly the best answer.
How the job goes
We remove the old heater and set up the new one in its place. The same guys stay on the job each day, so you are not explaining your house to a new face every morning. We keep you in the loop on what we find as we work. If we see old pipe work or a bad fix from a past job, we show you and talk through your options. You choose what happens next, and we do the work to match.
Replacement work in Greenwood and beyond
In Greenwood, a lot of our work is ripping out the old and replacing the entire system. Water heaters are often part of that. In Carmel, Fishers and Westfield, many homes are new builds, or they need us to fix what someone else messed up. A bad install may need to be pulled out and done again. In Indianapolis, we often do maintenance, so a replacement there usually comes after we have watched an older unit fade.
Getting a second quote from us
If another company already quoted you thousands of dollars for a new system, call us before you say yes. We often follow in with a quote after the big guys, and we aim to charge much less than they do. We look at what your home needs and leave out what it does not. Then you can compare. For more on how we handle hot water, see our water heater work.
